I really don't understand how you people are able to do well on songs that are this hard on command and yet less able to AAA easier songs. Round 1, 64 difficulty song. This tournament is going to be hella hard for me.

Okay, this song isn't so bad on second try. But I do not think I'll be able to compete with squid's score at all. The outro is too much for me I think.

We just focus more on harder difficulty songs. By the way, the songs should be harder for the rest of the tourney for all divisions.

Everyone's doing better this round than I expected. I based the difficulties on what each division should be able to SDG, that's obviously not enough. Next time will be harder!

My best AAA is a 69, with only 3 other FMO AAAs. That's entry level D5, which isn't where I'm at. One small slip on an easy area after nailing a difficulty spike still ends the AAA run. I'm happy with a generally solid score say like 15g on an 83, 81 SDG, or 2g on a 74 but turning that into a AAA is ridiculously hard for me. I don't know how much of the same deal it is with other people but that's my perspective on the topic. (Another possible answer for some may be laziness)

EDIT: Second try was much better.



EDIT2: My hands hurt since I just got back from lots of IIDX at the arcade so this is good enough for now...
