In situations where there is convergence of perfect scores and a few other players just off of the mark, you probably should just assign the next person the second highest value.

Alternatively: if you count ties as a single person and don't want to inflate the player count, then the point total for a massive tie like this could be AAA count minus number of players in round = total score; in this case, if 12 out of 13 players AAA'd, then the AAAs all get 2 and the non-AAA gets 1 for being last.

The first idea is probably better, haha.
