Yes, I originally disbelieved Peach's claim for essentially this.

It was a bad claim. The Gunsmith role does not gain any additional functionality for coming out to the thread, and we can't even take the claim seriously without her having used her role. If she had used it, and the person who she said she gave a gun to used their gun, we could at the very least use the claim as evidence that she's human, but her claim accomplished nothing besides putting herself in danger.

No, not at all, and I don't know why you put that in quotes because it doesn't even come close to resembling anything I've actually said.

I don't believe Bowser's claim because:

- When he had five votes on him and was leading the lynch, his response was NOT to "'save himself from the pressure'". His response was coolness and a certainty that he was not in any real danger. This is not how an important blue who is about to die would act!

- Immediately after his sureness that he wasn't going to die, he "voted" Villager. There's quotes on that because he actually didn't - no vote tags were used, so his vote was still on me. This looks transparently like he wanted to keep attention off of his revenge vote, and to keep more than one bandwagon option open to his wolf friends when they came to his defense.

- Right after this sheer confidence in his own life, a huge flurry of votes with no rationale or explanation landed on me out of nowhere.

- After the wolves were done flexing their muscle, but it was still clear that Bowser was not safe, only THEN did he make his claim. And since he has made his claim, he has repeatedly misspoke and not demonstrated any thinking that an actual Cop in this scenario would have.

THAT is why I am confident Bowser's claim is bunk.

It's not hard!

1) Your claim should have a point. If all you're doing is painting a target on your back, why the balls are you doing it?
2) Your claim should be demonstrable.

Examples:

- "I'm the Cop, and Solid Snake came back red last night." We kill the red and they cardflip. Hurray!
- "I'm the Gunsmith, and I gave Luigi a gun last night." Luigi uses the gun, and nobody can argue. Hurray!
- "It looks like I'm about to die in a lynch. I'm a Medic." While not ideal, this would still at least have a point, because a Medic would surely die to wolves after revealing, and at least we force reds to use a wolfing killing the Medic rather than wasting a lynch on it.

Even if he's fake and we're relatively sure he is, he's not getting lynched for a looooooooooooooong time (not until we can lose if we don't lynch him.) You should try and find his partners. So you agree that "we're relatively sure" that he's fake, but you also think I'm being irrational, in spite of the fact that I'm the one who gotcha'd him in the first place.

And even though "we're relatively sure" that we've found a wolf, you think the best thing to do is to... not lynch our best lead, but focus instead on people based on an assumption that we could make concrete by, you know, just fucking lynching our best lead.
