A few questions about FFR songs...
Ok, so I was playin some DDR Extreme today (just bought), and came across a song named B4U. I did it (on heavy mind you), and it sounded eerily familar. I did it again, and realized it sounded a lot like 4F73R M3 (in arcade). I looked up the info on it, and it's buy Naoki, and debuted in DDR Konamix (a few years ago). Also, the names are strikingly ironic (Before You, After Me... lol).
So what's the story behind that? Which came first? Is SuperGreen the same person as Naoki, or did one get permission? Anyone know what the deal is? Secondly, everyone loves NeoMax. I'm a personal fan of the Max series (along with Paranoia as well), my favorite being MaxX Unlimited. There's a part in NeoMax, about midway through, that has a cool piano melody. I don't recognize it from any other Maxs, and, as far as I know, there are only three others (Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, and The Legend of Max). Is there another Max I don't know about, or is that piano melody just something that is specific to NeoMax? And lastly, are there any other songs Darude has done besides Sandstorm and Music? I like his music (I LOVE SANDSTORM), and I was curious if he had any others that have had stepfiles to them... Anywayz, thanks for any answers you guys have. It's all appreciated 8) |

SuperGreen X made its version afterwards. It is a remix and you do not need permission for remixes. Especially since there's nothing commertial about what they're doing.
That is the only question I can answer. |

as far as the Max question goes, if you've ever been to bemanistyle.com and looked at how many max ___(fill in random word here) there were you would find so many. So neomax (which is on that site) is just a remix of one of the core three.

Ahh ok I see. Alain, hypathetically speaking, does that mean I (ME) can do a remix of say a Final Fantasy song, and then submit it to FFR... not gonna happen, just curious.
Thanks for the answers guys, clears things up XD |

Always gone to Ocremix, but it didn't occur to me that they'd have Maxes and stuff. And thanks for the Vgmix XD

SGX made his own remix of B4U. His vision of the title read "Before You", so he named his remix 4ft3r m3, or "After Me" as an opposite.
Though the piano in NeoMax sounds familiar, it is a completely original creation from DM Ashura himself.
