recommend me single player PC games~

i'm dropping my current internet provider and will be without internet for a while.. sort of.. my neighbor is letting me use her wifi just for simple web browsing if needed.

doesnt matter what kind of game just as long as its single player. i like pretty much anything.

totally forgot about this game! i really liked watching it speedrun at agdq ill have to pick it up.

also downloaded/downloading orcs must die 2, witcher 1 & 2, kotor 1 & 2. doom 2 after a couple of these finish.

ahhh yes serious sam! i think it was better with co-op, but i think ill pick it up either way.

Play the whole Mass Effect trilogy that should keep you busy for a few days straight
If you like RPGs and Mass Effect 1-3 isn't enough play Dragon Age Origins (don't even think about playing DA2 though holy fuck EA buttraped that franchise so hard with the sequel)

Also +1 to KOTOR (literally the best game I've ever played cannot recommend it enough) and KOTOR 2 (good game but you have to use the fanmade patch or else the games fuckin broken)
And +1 to Mirrors Edge that game is great

i've heard nothing but good things about this game. literally everyone has been recommending it, but the thing is i was never really into star wars. you think that i will still enjoy this game? i got it regardless because its so highly talked about. im just worried that my not so extensive knowledge of star wars might turn me the other way.

If you like "scary" games, resident evil 4 would be my top choice for the series, then 5. (Only because it's recent)

I knew next to nothing about Star Wars before I played KOTOR.


The game turned me into a Star Wars geek. I'm serious. It inspired me to go read more backstories and rewatch the movies to see what I was missing.

So no you don't need to know anything about Star Wars to appreciate it. Having watched a movie or two beforehand wouldn't hurt but honestly, it's a good enough game to stand on its own. That's part of why it's so impressive.
