A place to upload simfiles
Can we get a page so we can upload simfiles like on Zenius-i-Vanisher?

Due to copyright and permission issues the site can't allow upload and storage of files with songs we don't have permission for. There was a simfile database in the past, and it was removed due to that reason. There most likely won't be another on this site, just due to the liability it produces for the site/community.

Furthermore, beyond the old FFR simfile database, nearly every single other site that has had a simfile database has also been shut down for similar legal reasons (rip Bemanistyle)

Until recently, I'd guess by simply being less popular than Dance Dance Revolution and DDR-like games.
Now that osu! has greatly risen in popularity, they will probably have to deal with copyright issues sooner or later.

osu already has dealt with copyright issues, most notably the case where they had to remove all skrillex songs for a period of time but somehow peppy resolved the issue and now is able to keep them up (?)
they've now got an entire section regarding copyright: https://osu.ppy.sh/p/copyright p.s. there are more people that know about and play osu than ddr at this point
