definitely any kind of infection which could lead to disease, its all out there, and anything can happen

I just do not want any thing to happen that would lower my standard of living by any considerable amount. (especially things involved with limiting motor functions)

i am also afraid of elevators, every time i get on one i cant help but think about all the possible ways of it breaking and me getting trapped inside (im closterphobic) or if the supports broke and i suddenly went free falling to the body to finally impact with the ground in a tangly mess of scrap metal and death.. wow.. i am a loser.

that happened to me once, I was in an elevator at a hotel going to the 1st floor from the 9th. I knew that sometimes when you push the buttons for the floors to go down it sometimes didn't work so you had to push it again. So i went on by myself and I am afraid of elevators also. I pushed 1 for 1st floor and it didn't do anything. So I pushed 1 again....still nothing. Then for some reason I pushed it rapidly a great number of times. Then it worked!! but when it got to the fist floor it stopped. I was waiting for the doors to open...and they didn't. I'm very afriad of elevators so I immediiatly panicked and tryed to manually open the door. Then the elevator for some reason went up to the 3rd floor. I was like good someone must of pushed the button to summon the elevator, lol. So it go up to the 1st floor and opened. No one was there so I was about to get out but the door closed on me. I was like crap.....then it went to the first floor and it opend so I literaly jumped out of it and sat down for a good 5 minutes to cool down.

I have a fear of flying. It's dumb, it's safer than driving or walking, but I just don't like being that high up.

Also, Lightknight, use the edit button =D.

It's not the falling from the plane that scares me. I'm okay with falling great distances. Hell, I'm great at it. Every time, I'll hit the target dead on. The wind whipping past your face like a nice breeze, the smell of the briny ocean rushing in, enticing your olfactory sense... You eyes close, for if you kept them open, they would surley dry out. And then you open them. You don't know why, you do. The ground is rushing to greet you with arms wide open, but its embrace is not one that you readily accept. Gravity helps you decide wether or not you're going to salute the ground in such a manner, and all control over your life is lost. The forces of gravity and attraction have decided your fate, and no matter how good of a Christian you are or what a good person you were, you can't change the fact that the earth is so welcoming. The ground is almost at you. You want to remember what it was like to breathe, but you can't. All the air is gone from your lungs as you try to freeze times, to have your life flash in front of your eyes, to live those moments again, but you're not granted the respite. You feel the blades of grass against your cheek, and you feel a fire rushing through your body as it takes in Mother Nature's love and respect. Your eyes roll back in your head as your body no longer feels pain; all the nerve endings are shot, your endorphines are pumping out much faster than normal.

And then... Nothing.

The two things im most affraid of are

1. The dark
i am terrified of the dark, if i am not sitting in front of my computer at night, i will freak out and sleep in the same room as one of my brothers.

2. Me doing something stupid to make us poor.
i am affraid somone is going to steal my phone and run a million dollar bill, or somone will steal my parents credit card and all our money will be stolen. We live in a 10,800 square foot house, and we have another house that is 5,000 square feet that we use for summer, and my parents have to take care of 5 children, who none of which are at college yet.

My biggest fears: Life and heights. Also, something getting me while I'm in the dark. When I'm alone in the house, I turn all the lights on. I don't know, but I'm just so scared of the dark, and I have been as long as I can remember.

I'm afraid of death...

The idea of my entire conscious and being... just not being.

...and it's kinda hard to imagine what it's like not to exist. To never experience anything ever again.

I understand what you are saying. Death is A common fear. Just not one of mine. I figure, everyone dies someday, so why worry about it? I'm not ragging on your fear, I completely understand how you feel. Just adding in my two cents.

Wow, those bees are like imperial to all bees. The poor colonies don't stand a chance. As long as they don't nest in the United States. I felt bad for them. Exspecialy for the one that got it's body bitten off and was struggling and suffering. I felt bad for them. I strongly dislike bees to. Poor little fellas.

Spiders and Daddy Long Legs. And insects now a little, too.

My greatest fear is a tornado or waterspout. (waterspouts are tornados on the water) they're just creepy. Expescially if your the only one around.

Now way fighterforce32, those are my greatest fears to. Waterspouts particulary. The horror of the seas. I have a fear of tall things in the wide open.

If I was in a wide open grassy plain with grass as far as the eye could see with no mountains or rivers or anything in the distance. In the middle was a great thin but very tall pole that reached into the sky. 4,000 feet. I was the only one around. No one else. I'd freak at the pole. I'd scream and get all scared because of it.....why? I don't know. If theres a desease for that i'm certain I have it.

i have decided im also terrifide of being alone in an unfamiliar place for a prolonged period of time. I like to have somthing or someone for secuity. If its only for a little while i can handle it fine but after a while i start like panicing of a sort. I am also now scared of energy drinks becuase i had a caffiene overdose and that was no fun. I am scared of Injuries too, like bruises, scratches, or anything else of that sort becuase i had TSS and according to my doctor even the slightest cut can lead to a relaspe and i will die.. i dont want to die yet, plus i was like sick for liek a month, bad sick, i dont want to go through that again

Sure it's a common fear and everyone does die someday...

I like how you can rationalize yourself out of fear of death... but you're helpless when it comes to either spiders or clowns.

hahaha, just playing.
