Default whats up with the thread name

Anyone who really thinks about it knows you dont want to do 32bit RGB. the internet standard is between 8-16 bit. You'll lose image integrity in JPGs. The only time you'll use the 32 bit stuf is in PNGs and then who is zooming in FAR enough on a static posted image to tell if its 32 bits?...you'd also probably be ding the image at 300dpi...and to post a print quality image, which is usually done in CMYK if you are smart, and it will bloat a post with a HUGE image size. I just dont get it... Its kind of a mislead

Why does it matter? It gets the point across that the forums consists of art.

it jsut seemed odd to misrepresent something at the risk of sounding like you dont know what yu're tlaking about. It really doesnt get a good point across, something like ART THREADS or ARTISTIC CONTECT OF FFR...would not only be more thourough and make the same and more intelligent point.

Ok, see, here at FFR sometimes we like to add a touch of creativity to forum names at the expense of sounding intelligent. I have been here for two and a half years, so I would know. Audio creation doesn't involve structures used in playgrounds, but that didn't stop the STATIC JUNGLEGYM from being created, so why change the name of 32-bit RGB? Both terms in the forum title involve art, so it really does get the point across that the forum involves art. Besides, if you really are too stupid to figure out what it means, you can still read the description below:

Quote:
The graphical faction of the FFR forum. A place to discuss the demented mind of the visual artists and the tools they love to use. It's 2D, 3D, PixelArt, Traditionalism or whatever else floats your boat.

I knew what it meant for the get go, I have yet to see anything on a higher plane of thinking expressed anywhere in the phpBB here. So I had kind of wrote this down to see what anyone would say. Hoeing someone would try to justify it rather than say "Oh its...uh...creative sillness". kids....

I see...I ve spent a long enough time here in FFR to come to understand that a majority of the poeple here are between the ages of about 15-18. Most (not all) of whom have a very skewed concept about both art AND music. .The person who directed me here...well, I would have thought given their BG would have had the sense to know that when I asked if the people here were professional and knew what they were doing; he'd have given me the right answer. I posted the thread about helping people out graphically for a reason...some of you need it. I never said I was the best ever, nor did I say my examples were my best works. However, for the talking and "pats onthe back" for things less than mediocre you guys give out...well...I'll just leave it at that, Im sure that you're smart enough to figure it out. If you are too stupid to figure it out, I didnt include a quote because you'd be too stupid for it as well.

Says the person with "ejrskg" as their AIM screenname. Really, you have no room to insult Spazzbite. I have no idea who you think you are, but you must think you're pretty hot shit if you insult one of the oldest active members and act like you know more than they do. If you have a problem with the names of these forums (Get the fuck ahold of yourself if you do), then just leave. We promise we won't miss you too much.

is this the part of the sotry where I cry and say "fuck you guys, Im going home", snatch my ball and run away crying? If it is I forgot my lines.

Nice attempt with the posting my AIM SN for covert flame call...uh..did you stop and think I'd have to approve a message to be sent BEFORE you got to flame me?...be careful, your age is showing...as for being concerned about what you've tried to say with mousy anger - my concern is in my OTHER pants, sorry.

Im sure that if Spazzbite is as much of an active member as you say, then hes fully capable of defending himself. Especially if he carries as much weight as you say. I DID insult him, but only after he insulted me. If you guys cant take what you give...what good are you? It not about maturity, but about a level field. Like I said...if you cant take it, dont give it.

The kid talks to ME like Im some moron and then expects to just have it go on account that hes been here forever...that says nothing but a testament to his or her lameness...

Continuing about how long someone has been in a forum or a board or a phpNuke site or anywhere for that matter..its irrelevant. Its the information age (so YOU get the fuck ahold of yourself). Age and longevity aint shit. What you can or cant do are what matter. Put up or shut up.

My inital point was the the title of the forum block was irrelevant and incorrect, and I still stand by the overall weakness of a majority of the things here. Sure its a "kids" site or whatever, but...didnt you hope to aspire to more?

...and no I dont think I'm hot shit, but a descent amount of others do. Now, am I supposed ot post your AIM SN here too, or what? Im not sure what you kids do these days.

Wow, you take way too much pride in your age. I'm sure you have a decent age advantage over me, but you said it yourself:

Quote:
Age and longevity aint (#$%.
So quit using that point to make yourself look witty.

You have to realize that I don't have anything against you except the way you're treating other members of this website. It would have been fine if you hadn't brought insults into your third post. I was simply showing that we don't want that crap here.

Obviously, senate, you failed to realized that my statement wasn't directed towards you, but as a generalization. It wasn't used as an insult toward you. Also, don't use age to argue with somebody, because you're arguing over the internet. For all we know, you could be thirteen. I used how long I have been here as a reference to how I have seen these boards grow and the style of the posting that posters choose to use, so I have a good idea about why threads have the names they have. I just don't see why a graphics board that has been here since late 2003 would need a name change just because one person on a site with over 500,000 members disagrees with the title. The quote I added was the description of the forum, not a made up description of what I thought the forum was.

it would appear then, that the entire series of posts are complete misunderstandings. At no pont did I initiate insults, and at no point was the intent to throw age as weight, actually quite the contrary. With that said...in ohard feelings
