Wow, extremely nice job on the cutting, and nice choice for a location, too.

No, it's easier to just lasso it with a tablet then recolor the bordering pixels to match the bg.

If you cut it right, you dont need to color anything....and it IS pretty easy

Not really, even with antialiasing on magic wand the transparencies on border pixels that have opposing backgrounds is still very noticeable.

Usually when you use the magic wand It doesnt select all of what you wanna cut out because the colors in that item/person are way off on hue. Lasso all the way!

if you are going to lasso it then inverting the image makes it a lot easier.
that's some mad skills there.

you could have set the tolernace much lower on a wand, so as not to get a bleed in to areas you wanted to keep, I usually use a tolerance of 5, but it requires a bit more SHIFT+CLICK and a far zoom in, but whatever works

I use the pen tool, better then the lasso because you can let go of the mouse and select sizes less then a pixel and you can still mess with the selection you made after you're done tracing it

The pen tool is extremely hard for people who don't know how it works. I've gotten fairly good with it, but my choice for selection is still the polygonal lasso tool + magic wand.
