I picked the Penguins, but I want Columbus to win. Crosby's a great player and all, but god damn do I hate the shit out of him for being a whiny pussy.

Holy shit Nathan MacKinnon. This 18 year old is practically picking apart the Wild right now.
Currently at 1 goal and 2 assists in game 2 AFTER SCORING 3 ASSISTS IN GAME 1. TL;DR: 18 year old has 6 points in 5 periods of playoff hockey. What are we doing with our lives?

I can't help but think that Minnesota has already knuckled under mentally, given how they reacted on that first goal when the Avs got it in their own zone. They immediately go back on their heels except for one guy who gives lip service to the idea of backchecking, he splits the wings, dekes the hell out of Spurgeon (in such a way as to cut off the other defenseman, nice!) and makes the goalie look like Swiss cheese.
That other goal didn't help, either. Gets the puck, puts it between his own legs, skates past one guy, goes around Spurgeon again and back-passes to the slot, where there is a FILTHY backhand pass to expose a yawning net.

Colorado is quickly becoming one of my favourite teams to watch. I've loved Landeskog since he was in the OHL.

1 goal and 3 assists for MacKinnon tonight. 3 assists in game 1.
He has 7 points from only 8 Colorado goals. He has a point on 87.5% of their goals. Seriously, this kid is nuts! He'll be so much fun to watch in later years. Colorado, you lucky bums.

I'm cleaning up on betting on my Canadiens who keep being listed as the heavy underdog on my favourite betting site.

Well Montreal is going to lose next round so that's okay
![]() But honestly, I thought Tampa and LA would have played better. I don't know what's going on. |

How do you know they're going to lose when we don't even know their opponent yet? Or when they haven't even won round one yet? Not sure why you'd count them out so quickly unless you're a butthurt Leafs/Senators fan.

If you get the Canadians as an underdog you're definitely not betting for money and if so you should link me the site so I can clean them out

Montreal actually matches up well vs the Penguins if that is the matchup it's a tossup and will go 6-7 games most likely.

You can only bet on the site if you're a resident of British Columbia. They have Minnesota, Dallas and St. Louis as the favourites tomorrow, but Columbus as the underdog. Montréal will most likely face Boston. Go Detroit!
