I've been playing FFR for a while and not really going on the forums, so I thought I would say hello.
Also, I've got a question about combos and how they affect your score. I'm working on a song I can only beat about 10% of the time, and so I cleared it and got a score higher than I had before. Then I tried again and got a combo up to the middle of the song where I always die, and then died. And I saw that my score was higher than the one where I cleared the song. So how exactly do combos affect your score? |

Welcome.
I'm not entirely sure, but combos affect your score the most. If you have a high combo you get a higher score. It works something like a multiplier.. but I'm not sure one what scale. You can tell because score and total score are usually very different depending on combo. To add to this: You may get a higher score per note for a larger combo. Meaning if I manage to get a perfect on a note from a 8 combo, it won't be as high a score if I get a perfect from a 100 combo. |

Thank you. You also alerted me to the presence of the FAQ, which I then found.
