I'm so jelly. There was a showing of the movie in my area three days ago, but I had work. Isn't it like 4 hours long? I want to see it so bad.

The Rebellion Story is 2 hours long I think.
Kinda curious about the movie, I might watch it if it ever comes to SG. |

That sure was intense. There were some things that were pretty confusing, but after reading some discussion I think I have a decent idea of everything that happened. I'm considering going to see it again, because I was too late for the autographed prints they had today :P |

It was pretty good. Mind = blown. Could you link to the discussion that you read? I want to make sure I caught everything. |

basically my reaction after watching it was
HOMURA YOU DUMB BITCH. approve of all the Kyouko x Sayaka moments. edit: seriously, if Homura didn't explain to Kyuubey that incubators can harvest despair and save the universe (end of PMMM TV Series/Movie 2), this shit wouldn't have happened. But anyway I fucking loved the movie otherwise. I want to watch it again already Q_Q Last edited by Pseudo Enigma; 12-10-2013 at 08:49 PM.. |

I went to a screening event for this a couple of weeks ago. I have mixed feelings about the direction the plot took, but I still thought the movie was good overall. Also loved the OP and ED.

My friend, however, told me that the ending was actually Shinbo's idea, as Urobuchi originally had the ending to be: Though it is basically more excuse to milk more of this cash cow, I don't think too many people will complain if it means more Madoka (I don't care as long as it's still good and the ending is satisfying with everything [or at least most things] resolved).

Yes, I recall reading something like that in the pamphlet myself. I suppose the plus side of the change is that it made everything more surprising.

I'm more excited for Evangelion Rebuild 4.0 than this, but I'm still interested to see what happens. I'll probably watch the first two movies before it just to get the updated / summarized version of the series.

Bluray is out. Not an April fools joke, just unfortunate timing.

Yea I noticed some random sub groups did it. Guess I'll wait for a more reputable group.
