And all that said, The reason they got music permission like a mad sunivabeyaatch was that Tass and Drugstore are extremely good at PR concerning musicians. Everyone can hate on the group there all they like: FFR got some of it's greatest stuff when it was those two going out and getting songs.

And Jimerix. God forgive me if I forget Jimerix's awesome Japanese permissions.

to be honest unless a music game is created by big names (guitar hero, iidx, dj max, drummania, rock band, etc)

it's probably never gonna go big in the commercial sense
