Probably not...just rearrange it a bit? It's kinda weird-sounding at times IMO.

Maybe a little variation + some 16th note fills?

If anything, though, I could barely hear the drums at times, the piano and the synth's kinda overpowering it.

There is no synth. I'll try making the drums a bit louder, but I was actually afraid that it would clash with the rest of the song if they were too strong. The part after the chorus is likely to change a lot.
