so i started back up pokemon white 2 again today to see why I had stopped playing it.


I just want to have pokemon battles, catch pokemon and things of the sort. what the FUCK is up with this movie making fashion show garbage? completely ruins the flow of the game for me, and I'm really not interested in being force fed this aids concept. this is not what pokemon is about.

You don't have to do much of anything from those two? iirc you only have to make one "movie" which takes all of 3 minutes, and you can completely ignore the fashion show nonsense. It's aids but you don't have to suffer it that long...agreed that it's completely gimmicky though and a far cry from the excellent pokemon contests from gen IV. Give me the battle subway anytime

Fuck the Gen 4 contests, the OGs from gen 3 were best.

You don't even have to do the musicals, but the movie making (which is basically a mission mode) is required to get to the third gym. As for Pokemon XY (no topic derailing!), the vitals for Xerneas and Yveltal have been released. The deer is 3.0 m and 215 kg, while the roc is 5.8 m and 203 kg.

CoroCoro also leaked the official art for what will likely be the box legends and said that there would be "over 700" in all when this came out, so we're probably looking at 50-150 new mons mixed in with old favorites. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm surprised they haven't just resorted to expansion packs for pokemon, since new games just seem to be in a new place with different pokemon to catch with 150-ish new ones. Doesn't help that most of the new things introduced (such as contests and musicals) usually get bashed for being boring or convoluted. Only doubles was accepted well from what I remember (no one bothers with rotation and triples lol).

It's really just a problem with people wanting either no changes whatsoever or something entirely different with everyone else being shafted for dumb reasons.

All the released mega evolutions are in this image, so I'm not too sure myself.
