You might have some time yet. I'm dragging my feat on my last file because its a pain in the ass to step. I'm only doing one more for the pack, skwid is done, so that leaves some time for 3 more submissions. I think rcaliber said that he's been taking his time with his next file too.

Yeah the only problem I have to get over with the file is how repetitive the song is, and how to make the bursts not the same 4 patterns copy pasted without being obnoxiously difficult. I've actually stepped all the streams first, since the 24th bursts take up most of the song.

Yeah, if I can get my external up, I'll be able to step Once Upon A Time In Transylvania >_>

PS its more Trap music.

Also skwids jpop file needs a different color for the genre because i cant even read that shit on white

Really really fun file.

I like it a lot, even if it is easy. Its short and sweet.

Really silly to play on obnoxious rates too:

Sent my last file. 18.9 raw NPS rofl.

I'm wondering if the burst patterns are ok. They seem to flow well from my playtesting, but others may find some patterns awkward.

Reviews because I had nothing better to do right now.

(MrTea) Miama Bass Warriors - Breakfire
Accepted
Easy MA file again. About as easy as I'm willing to accept. Cant think of anything bad to say about this file other than it is right on the cusp of being too easy to be fun, but its not. I should be able to AAA this but had like 3 greats 1 cb on my sight read.

(MrTea) John Williams ft. Peter Griffin - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Opening Chase Theme
Rejected
Way too easy. Stupid song too.

(rCaliberGX) CardboardBox - The Limit Does Not Exist
Accepted
This file is awesome. I can't even come close to passing it though. 260 bpm js is pretty absurd. I like what you did with the 24ths as well. My only concern is that I would look at the first section of the last long jumpstream before the quarter kicks come in. The kicks are very hard to hear in this section and you stepped jumps on all of them. I had to slow down the track to even be able to tell what the jumps were stepped to. Everything after this first section is fine but I would consider taking a few of the jumps out. Not a big deal one way or the other though.

(Aloyus) Circuitfry - Orbital Friendship Cannon
Rejected
Sorry man theres just way too much about this file that I don't like. My main complaint is the song choice. The song is quite long and not interesting to me at all considering its just a few seconds short of marathon length. I also found the slow sections to be far too long and boring to offer much replay value for the chart. This chart takes literally 4 minutes to become difficult, and when it does it isn't even fun to me. It seems like you tried to chart jumpy rollstream and it just doesn't work for this song. The 48th triplet rolls are also obnoxiously hard to hit. Appreciate the submission but it just doesn't cut it for me. =/

So this means that if skwid agrees with my accept on Breakfire, The Limit Does Not Exist, and A Broken Hearth Can Mend that we are up to 49 files. Only 1 more til release, and I might get off my ass and finish Exothermic to fill that spot. This basically means that right now is your last call for any submissions. Skwid hasn't been around on Skype this weekend so idk when he'll be back to get his reviews out.

Can't pass it either lol, I can get halfway through the last big jumpstream but I get tired and fail. I'll take a look at the jump layering.

edit: In the first 4 measures of the stream, I forgot to layer a snare which is present in the other 28 measures lol. I'll fill it in so the beginning has a more consistent layering.

Resent The Limit Does Not Exist. Changed some of the patterns in the 24th bursts, and added missing jumps from the beginning of the stream. Also added the cdtitle which I forgot in the v1.

Got it, thanks.

Another review.

(Alloyus) Xeon - Xeus
Accepted
This file is a lot of fun, a bit on the easier end, which is perfectly ok, but I had a lot of fun with it. I like what you did with the jack section in the middle, I think it breaks the song up nicely. The JS felt fun and crisp as well. Neat to have a true trance song in the pack as well.

Also I finished my last file. Depending on what Skwid says tonight its somewhat likely that we'll be closing submissions. I'll post a last call thread if this is the case.

ez but fun to MA. Interesting song.

(MrTea) Alexander O'Neal - A Broken Heart Can Mend (The Other Side Bootleg)
Accepted
I'll go ahead and accept this even though I think it's a tiny bit too easy, just because I think it'd seem weird to draw the line right here, and the chart is pretty good.

(MrTea) John Williams ft. Peter Griffin - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Opening Chase Theme
Rejected
idk I don't think this really has a place here. It's cool as a silly file or whatever, but it's waaay too easy and the "song" is meh.

(rCaliberGX) CardboardBox - The Limit Does Not Exist
Accepted
This file is amazingly fun and has a nice difficulty progression. Hard as fuck.

(Aloyus) Circuitfry - Orbital Friendship Cannon
Rejected
It makes me sad to reject this because the harder parts are actually pretty fun to me, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the fun parts are only about 15-20% of the song.

(Alloyus) Xeon - Xeus
Accepted
Extremely fun MA file for me, and the jacks made me pretty happy. The jump placement is pretty neat too. Cool song.
