The speeds cannot change, but the arangement of the receptors can, making it so the arrows must move faster.

receptors = the 4 stationary arrows at the top of the screen. You can change those around so that they're at the left or right and it, so the arrows will scroll to the sides of the screen. that makes the arrows move faster. But i don't think you'd like that lol.

I don't think there is a way to change the speed.Just try to get used to it.

Actually you can change the speed in R2, but R2 is hard for "newlings." Stick to the begginer and very easy songs in R1 for now.

The speed changes in R2 are a bit awkward as well, for it goes by a slider, not a set of set speeds. So you're not sure if it's x2 or C300

Yeah, in R2, sometimes my adjustment changes a bit. I usually set it to around 2.5 unless I'm doing something real fast, and when I change it so I can do those fast ones, it's set to something like 2.51. Not like it makes a big woop-dee-doo, anyway.
