I don't enforce the difficulty policy that strictly. If a file is a low FMO, I'll still judge it.

is there a link to the engine that works so i can see what it's like

Soooo I finally finished a file that would be perfect for this batch, and I think I've got something that isn't too bad. Only problem is that I'm so out of practice that I can't playtest it to check how patterns flow etc. Is anyone willing and able to play 8+ minutes of Between the Buried and Me?
It probably falls in the mid 70's difficulty-wise.

It'd be fine, just NOT for a tournament, keep that in mind. I ain't playing 8 minutes files for an Official nty

hahaha so true. It's a sort of lose-lose where I want everyone to be able to play it and hopefully enjoy it, but I don't think many people would enjoy it as a public file screwing up their ranks and all of that.

If it isn't stepped as badly as White Walls Part 2, than sure I'd play the crap out of it.

And before anyone says anything about this, I actually like the first part, save for one or two moments.

I wouldn't have played Sleep, and that chart's only 2:46. It's more of are the patterns boring as hell sort of deal.

As long as it's not the same boring pattern for like 2+ minutes, I'd say send it.

I didn't mind Red Wings Over Baron that much -- it was a good song and a good file, just with some dickish one hand parts (one with a speedup). It had a decent difficulty spread around the file.

If a marathon file is going to be stepped it better damn well be worth it and not just because it makes a hard file.

hey even though this file was 6 minutes and had a hard part i enjoyed it, im gonna replay it sometime soon nice

and not

this file has a part that's pretty dickish to AAA so the other 5 minutes of this file suck 2/10

who cares if pandora's beginning is like a full minute, the hard part is fun
