My concerns regarding TGB

I am starting this thread because i do not want to derail the other thread. This is something that comes to my mind from time to time and i am hoping to address these issues without any problems arising from the discussion. I am not sure where to post this so i have chosen chit chat because it is the closest thing to tgb that i am allowed to post in.



I wish i could contribute to the garbage bin but alas i am barred from posting because of A2P's inability to get over a grudge. Since i have been unbanned i have tried sending pm's to a2p and have refrained from saying anything that might be construed as inflammatory. I have talked to him with the utmost civility and sincerity to no avail. In 2012 i was one of the few people who made truly original threads and funny stuff for tgb. Now i am not allowed in because A2P wants to spite me.

If you only have a handful of people contributing to a relatively slow sub-forum and you cut the number of people who can contribute, what do you expect to happen to it?

If you're going to bar me from posting in the garbage bin, you should at least be able to contribute more to the garbage bin than i would, but if you are incapable of being as productive as i am, what is the point of barring me from posting?? is it to make the garbage bin better and more productive?? i think not. the more posts, the better should be the garbage bin's motto. the only purpose barring me serves is to appease the bitter and undeserved sense of authority that A2P has. This is not right and i wish i could talk about these things without somebody making a mockery of the whole affair. I do not think that the garbage bin should have been made private in the first place, much less with someone as unscrupulous as A2P deciding who and who does not get to contribute. It really goes against everything i stand for and i am going to continue to express my opinion on this subject because i feel that my position is justified and that A2P's is not.


I want to ask all of the real administrators and mods


if you were in charge of who had access to the garbage bin would you let me have access?


Is the garbage bin not the best place for me to post on this site?


Does the tgb mod have to provide a reason for why he denies somebody access to tgb?



I would also like to state for the record that prior to tgb's current state of affairs, i was never placed on the get out list. I was never on the get out list until A2P became mod. A2P on the other hand was on the get out list for a period of time... i even tried to get him taken off the list to help him out, but apparently my actions went unnoticed.

I just want access to TGB. is it really that much to ask?

I will admit, me and a2p have butted heads in the past, but i do not think he is a bad person because of it. A long time ago on a site called Red Fraction, i sent him pm's that i guess tainted his view of me. I have been a jerk in the past, but i do not have malicious intentions. Sometimes I feel as if things are never going change. I've apologized to him and he has kept the same attitude towards me. i admit it hasn't been a one-way street and we are both guilty of being mean to each other, i'm just really frustrated with my inability to contribute to the garbage bin.


The heart of the matter is that there shouldn't even be a mod who decides who can access the garbage bin and who cant. I really think it should be public.

I actually agree with this. Anyone who wants to see the forum ought to be able to opt in, without being looked at by a mod or something. They can always be kicked out later if they don't fit in, after all.
