Ok review time for mrtea
(MrTea) MrTea - Creative Flow Rejected I'm really not feeling this one. The steps are fine but I really don't enjoy a lot of breakcore in packs. The sync is consistently off by about 20 milliseconds, which alone isn't a big deal but the song is just uncomfortable to listen to and is awkward in length. This might be better suited for some other pack, the file really isn't that bad I'm just not feeling it. (MrTea) Emotional Joystick - untitled gabber song Rejected Ugh. This isn't getting accepted for about a thousand reasons but the biggest is that we really don't need another chart for this file. I already had something like 7 different charts for this. Beyond this the steps are awkward. Why you chose to put the half galloped 64ths in (the green notes) is beyond me. It might make sense in terms of the drums, as they do sound a little bit swingy, but the difference is so negligible that 16ths would have made a lot more sense. My play test of this had a perfect instead of a marvelous on almost every single one of these green notes as a result. (MrTea) Nvoise - Lazy Susan Accepted I like this file. Its got a good mix of difficulty and fun and the song is pretty unique compared to others in the pack. I definitely hope skwid agrees with me on this one so that it end sup in the pack. Also Tea, all your graphics are completely fucked, so if you wanna send me copies of Lazy Susan and Bitches with the graphics finalized I would appreciate that. |

Awesome, I'll get reviews for you soon. Hopefully tonight, maybe tomorrow though.
Short pack update: Axed one file from me and one file from skwid from the pack, looking back on those they were just too low quality to be considered for the pack anymore. Still haven't found another judge but for now we're gonna change the reviewing policy to files will be accepted if both me and skwid agree on it. |

(MrTea) Nvoise - Lazy Susan
Accepted This is a pretty sick chart. Not the catchiest song in the world or anything imo, but the chart more than makes up for it. It's really damn fun. (MrTea) Emotional Joystick - untitled gabber song Rejected I almost didn't even play this file because of the fact that there are a couple pretty good (and well known) charts for this song already. While the weird swing shit in a lot of the streams in this song is almost certainly technically correct, this is a case where I'd argue you should chart the song incorrectly if it means that it will flow better and be more fun to play. I just don't see a reason that someone would pick this specific chart of this song over any of the others. (MrTea) MrTea - Creative Flow Rejected The actual chart for this song is fine, but due to the length of the song and the song itself, I really can't imagine this having much replay value, tbh. (James May) hally - Bgrusko Meow Accepted Amazing song choice and chart with lots of variety. There seems to be a note missing at beat 212 but that's the only criticism I can think of. (James May) Parun - monocyclefromhell Accepted Pretty unique-sounding song. Chart is really fun and I like the difficulty progression. (James May) Mowtendo - Nichismoke Accepted This might be my new favorite parody song/MAD chart. Awesome song and chart. Not much else to say. (James May) Alias Conrad Coldwood - Pepper Steak Rejected I think the chart on this one is accurate and well done overall, but it's a bit too easy for my taste. That alone isn't really reason to reject something, but I don't even think this would be a really fun MA file or anything due to the song choice. It just feels really slow and repetitive and I can't see this having much replay value. Last edited by Skwid1; 07-29-2013 at 07:23 PM.. |

yeah i dunno. i don't even think it's a bad song or anything. it sounds like one of Igorrr's slower songs, and i fuckin' love Igorrr. it's just that i don't think it's really that great for stepmania.

Ended up being busy yesterday, anyway review time:
(James May) hally - Bgrusko Meow Accepted Holy shit where did you find this song lmao. I love it. Awesome song choice, awesome steps. Seriously awesome addition to the pack, and a much needed easier file. (James May) Parun - monocyclefromhell Accepted Another awesome song choice. Also super fun. The ending was surprisingly difficult, too. (James May) Mowtendo - Nichismoke Accepted rofl. insta-accept (James May) Alias Conrad Coldwood - Pepper Steak Rejected Few reasons I don't like this song. The swing rythms are a bit awkward to MA first of all. Not really your fault, but the song doesn't really provide excellent audio queues for the swings in the first place. Its also a bit too easy in my opinion, and didn't really seem to have much replay value. On top of that the song is just a bit too weird. Your other submissions had interesting song choices also but they were very catchy, this one not so much. So yeah, 3/4 of your files are in the pack. Appreciate the submissions man. ![]() |

Bgrusko is chiptune and monocycle is vg music
Also, if you're curious where bgrusko's from, it's in virt's collab album Noisechan & Nugget: Adventures in Chiptunes

(MrTea) Venetian Snares - Marty's Tardis
Accepted Obligatory Venetian Snares chart indeed. I thought it was fun. Stepped pretty accurately as well. |
