Yeah, this is pretty ridiculous - it doesn't look like something worth that much, and it IS a serious chunk of money. Although, to be honest, $670 isn't so high that there aren't people with way more cash than that lying around. If you make $100k a year that's less than two days of work. I'm guessing the high bidder isn't going broke trying to pay for this plushie.

Exactly. It's just a show. I watch it, enjoy it, the end. I don't fap to it, I don't go to cons, I don't spend all of my money on MLP merch, and I never mention it IRL (even indirectly).

That's why I just (facepalm) that anything MLP related causes such a huge ruckus on this forum. I don't get it; it's just yet another (perhaps eccentric) interest that people make a huge deal out of for some unexplained reason.

That isn't to say I can't see the other viewpoint. I am empathetic to those who have the show shoved in their face. I also have just as much disdain for people who do that as the people who are subjected to such.

It even bothers me when I play any online game and see something pony related (avatars or names). How involved some people get is just ridiculous.
