Picture of myself I took at work in my new suit. Started a new job a week ago as a Front Desk Agent at Springhill Suites by Marriott. Loving it so far. Primarily working 2p-10p which means doing Check-ins. I was told I will also be working some 6a-2p which means doing Check-outs.

edit: The company provided the jacket, two dress shirts, and the tie. If I leave before I complete my 1st year, I'll have to shell out $200.

Yup. They say we can choose to wear the jacket or not, but I like to look professional. Springhill Suites is primarily a business travel hotel, but we do get families.

The last time I wore a suit was back in 2006 for my senior prom.

My General Manager was really impressed when I showed up for my first day in uniform. I had two other days for training so I showed up casually.
