Number of posts doesn't mean much, though, does it? Freaky is a prime example of that.

i like how no one takes what i say seriously anymore and immediately discounts what i have to say and then say im suspicious and a wolf, but not as suspicious as _____. this is funny because i know half of you are taking this chance to set up a huge bandwagon on me somewhere along the line

The problem is that you haven't tried to say anything of substance since your suggestion for multiple voting pools got shot down. You've been posting nothing one-liners here and there.

Sorry for disappearing!

Looks like we've got a couple newer players racking up some votes, a few power players throwing their weight around, and plenty of activity. The amount of input already is very encouraging.

I'll list what I believe are my strongest reads to this point, as well as a couple players who puzzle me thoroughly.

yo man - town
I reread the game hosted by Manti where yo man, V, and Kraut were the three wolves. yo man never once analyzed other players as deeply as he did here; in that game, he relied on vague attacks. I see yo man's "emotional reactions" as simply wanting to play the game past Day 1.

V - town
Dude prods people constantly. Sure, wolves can do that, but I view his contributions as purely pro-town. If he were a wolf, I think his aggression would be unsustainable, as he would have to avoid pressuring his own compadres.

Manti - wolfy
A couple of Manti's posts seem off to me. Check out where he fuels the fire for votes against yo man, while not taking any action himself:

(that's the entire post)

Zoshi - wolfy
Inactivity happens. Hell, I've been gone for 24 hours. To me, inactivity becomes particularly suspicious when a player pops in solely to defend him/herself with specific excuses. Case in point:

AC1 - ???
Upon entering the thread, AC1 immediately started slinging what appear to be serious votes. Analysis of other players has been decent but accusation-heavy. Ex:

danceguy is doing this too, and I'm hoping for something substantial from both of you

Freaky rubs me the wrong way for running back to his 2 pool strategy that I guess didn't work last time and already establishing a pattern of revenge voting. I don't know if this is how he normally plays, and he's just extremely prideful, but I've never known anyone to do that in a game maybe short of Afro.
I agree with the vote on Zoshi, though.

cedo - ???
He has posted what appears to be honest detective work:

On the other hand, some of his comments seem like posturing. Example:

I'm gonna leave my vote on Zoshi. The vote was initially random, but now it's backed by actual reasoning.

Freaky's post count could be cut in half if he would just condense his triple posts into a single coherent post. I think that's the biggest reason why people are reacting the way they are to you Freaky, your mindset seems very fluid. You're essentially the FFR Ribs of this game it seems.

But like I said, I'm just playing it dumb right now.
This reads as a bunch of bullshit to me. I understand the strategy you're describing, I've attempted to use it in the past, but I really don't think it works in the end. Admitting that you're playing dumb is pointless and negates anything that you would be trying to do, other then appearing as a rationalized attempt to defend yourself (which I realize is in your own self-interest, but shouldn't be the driving force behind your play).

I'm not going to switch my vote off of JRodd yet, because I feel like he dodged my questioning on his YoMan vote and switched his vote to Freaky, the easiest and safest vote to probably place at this point.

I dislike making huge posts that list out how I feel about everyone. Smaller posts that target one person specifically are easier for me to write. I am making posts with logic, but it is being discarded by a lot of you as random fluff. Furthermore I get the vibe that people are starting to set up a future bandwagon based on my play style. This is really getting out of hand and can easily be manipulated by wolves for an easy lynch and I can see it has already begun to snowball.

This aside, I don't like vic. I always have bad memories from every game I play with her. She refuses to make any sense and when I read her posts, I feel like she skims through the first word of every post and tries to formulate an argument. And when people respond or talk to her, she somehow convinces herself she knows what is going on even without reading the thread. This isn't really game related though. She acted like this last game and was a mason. It doesn't make any sense and I don't know how we can deal with these players other than seering them.
