I forget who mentioned it before, but I tried out Muramana Syndra while ARAMing. I could take their Teemo from full to just about dead with a 3 sphere ult. Shit's cray yo.

You just win poke wars, then in teamfights you pair it with a very high damage team. With blue Ez you don't need peels when you are completely untouchable with your like 5 second CD free flash, this enables all 4 other members of the team to dive instead of babysitting you. Yeah the endgame damage is not as good as a pure DPS build but the utility of not needing peels let's the TEAM's overall dps be higher, as say the Leona who would be otherwise forced to babysit you can instead go in deep on the teamfight and spread her passive around on everyone while you just lol arcane shift away from things.

Gotta think about what happens in a teamfight not just max personal deeps all the time. That said the personal deeps is actually pretty decent if you actually hit all your Qs, which might be the problem you guys are experiencing. Not a fault of the build but the player using it lol

All of this. But again, the drawback is that because you yourself don't do enough damage as the adc, their team will win out in the end. All they have to do is peel and not fall into stupid poke wars that they're guaranteed to lose and their adc will rip through the enemy team.

With blue Ezreal, you have to rely on your mid and top to do damage. This is why it fits in well with any aoe mid and strong bruiser with poking capabilities. If you win pre-30 minutes, great, it worked out for you. Otherwise, it's a terrible cost effective build late game. (I mean, it's only 12k? Compared to a traditional adc build that's about 17-19k?)

Well the whole point is that their ADC will be dead because your entire team is free to dive them hardcore in lategame fights. And ideally you have such a strong 2-4 item phase that your advantages get you insurmountable lead/win by the time their carry reaches 4-6 items.
Obviously in straight up engages where you can't kill their ADC, you will lose. That's the drawback and you play/build/teamcomp so that doesn't happen. There's no point calling a niche build "trash" when it does what it's supposed to do REALLY well. Only idiots who don't play the proper playstyle with the build give it a bad name.

Muramana was so much nicer when it was magic damage and benefited from your penetration. Now that it's physical, it's a lot less effective Honestly I get Archangel on Syndra now (even in ARAM)
Once you max Q for the passive bonus, Syndra just scales way too well with AP (.69 ratio on Q and 0.6-1.4 ratio on ult) to do anything but a hardcore AP build.

Yeah, I was talking to a friend about this. He was all "Dude, they're so gonna fix the Muramana procs on her ult" but I told him that while you can get a massive single target nuke with Muramana, you'll have a higher overall damage output with Archangel's.

Also, 4 AoE ults plus a Yi does not end well for their team.

We were down to 4 v 5 at about 10 minutes, but their team was full of baddos and we probably could have won 3 v 5. Magnificent Twisted Fate is sexy though.
