I think it looks amazing.
Its like a better 2d Minecraft... Almost.

EDIT: I bought it, and I guess its alright. Not what I expected. Not like minecraft in the slightest game wise, but you craft things with minerals and what not. Just a lot more to do.

Thats what I thought first, then I watched the designers do an LP. And I changed my mind about it. Its a lot of fun, you just have to like that sort of thing, its not a sandbox game at all.

yeah took a while to get cobalt armor and rocket boots but I finally did it

now all I need to do now is collect all of the guns and bows and get more bands of starpower

rocket boots are the new clouds. now that clouds don't negate fall damage, boots are a necessity

so , what do you guys think?
is terraria advancing in the right direction? , is it even a worthy opponent for minecraft? , or is it just atotally different genre because of its heavy action part?

Yes, they did say they were finished, but after they ported it over to the Xbox and PS3, I guess they felt like adding in some more content. Redigit himself is leaking out spoilers of what's to come (you can climb up one block stairs!) so it's not like this is a rumor.

I played this game for a little bit a long time ago. Kind of makes me want to play again. I'd imagine I would get bored really fast though.

Oh I believe it. I'm just surprised that they're actually adding more content.

I stopped playing before the patch that added bunnies (whichever one that was), so hopping back in after this new update + all the crap they added before should be interesting. See what I did there?

Get tConfig and go mod hunting. Right now I'm using Omnir's mods, which add a TON of new monsters, items, and some older tiles. It's so much fun, and the majority of the stuff that's added from the Nostalgia pack is from various Final Fantasy games. There's plenty of good mods out there that really change up how the game plays.
