Honestly, I wasnt very impressed with the video. They should have choosen a more intense scene to remake instead of just the intro.

Even if it was just the opening, that looked incredible. And I definitely wouldn't mind a remake of FF7. Even if they're not going to make one.

They should remake it, it would probably more profitable then most of the new releases.

And I agree Jewpin. That scene hardly showed off the graphics capabilities of the PS3. I hardly noticed a difference besides the whole 5 seconds of Cloud/Aeris. I think Sephiroth walking through the wall of flame would have been much cooler. (Or the airship, or the bike escape, or the weapons, or hell... anything but that.)

There's plenty of rumors of remakes. A big rumor is the possible remake (or just port) of FFVII on the PSP. But then there's rumors (more stable rumors) that FFIII (FFVI for you buttwipes) is going to be remade for DS.

Don't forget that FFVII cellphone game lol

Actually, they havnt announced that there WONT be a remake of FF7, they remade that to show off at E3, and hopefully they got enough feedback about how much it pwnz to redo it, and i think thats what they're looking for, the release said they're still debating wether to remake it fully or not, so its neither a definate yes or no at this point.

Um, right after they showed that video the guy said (paraphrased) "Sorry to disapoint, but no, we're not gonna make that game, it's just to show the graphics."

And those who have said it already: the demo doesn't really show much. It's no better than the FF movie, and that scene (if it were in the game) wouldn't be rendered real time anyway, so it's not a big deal at all. *yawn*

I think its REALLY impressive, if you ask me... that game's awesome, and a remake would be the best news I've heard in a while... but alas, I doubt it'll come, as others have already stated.

He looks like the Cloud in the upcoming Advent Children movie.

Although, I think a remake would be kind of cool, game developers should focus more on created innovative games with more captivating storylines. We dont want the Video Game industry to go the way of the Movie Industry.

And a big Tru Dat to jewpin. I've noticed the movie industry has been redoing a lot of old movies, or making sequels to things that should never have had sequels to them. You know there's a Lady and the Tramp 2? That's just friggin ridiculous.
