I have only a few fears, but they're huge - otherwise I'm literally not afraid of anything else:
I'm afraid of my fingers bending backwards. It's actually very natural for most people's fingers to curve backwards slightly, but mine don't, and I can't look at people when their's do and I'm afraid to ever see it. I'm afraid of a lightswitch in my basement - there's a gap from the frame and the wall, just big enough to get my fingers caught in - I'm so afraid they'll get caught in there, bend backwards, and break, that I'll never touch the lightswitch. Ever. I'm also afraid of my fingers breaking. Considering the other two things I just described, this shouldn't surprise people. But this is my last and biggest fear: Losing the person that cares and understands me. She's my best friend, and we talk about everything.. everything. She's easily the most important person in my life, and if I lost her, I don't think I'd be able to go on. I'm very afraid of her dying, especially since she has a medical condition that makes it possible.

My biggest fear is death without an afterlife...never existing after your gone or being able to hold the ones you love. another is if my mom or dad died...i dont think i would be able to handle it.

I would also like to point out that a few people that said that they were afraid of dying weren't afraid of dying of natural causes, it was dying prematurely. I'm sure everyone here knows for a fact that they will die eventually, they just don't want the cause to be something painful, such as drowning (which I am very, very afraid of), or being burned to death(also one of my fears).
Also, I'm afraid of spiders.

I'm afraid of the dark. But not like boggeymen and stuff, just that there
might be something out there that shouldn't be. I guess that I'm more afraid of the unknown then. I can be in my own house with my whole family and if I hear something like the roof setteling, my mind starts thinking about something up there. I wouldn't be surprised if I went crazy and started seeing things. I'm also afraid of scary movies and being different(in some cases)

My biggest fears are suffocation, and drowning. But, there is this big conflict between my fears and what I really enjoy doing. I love to swim and love holding-your-breath contests.

The first time is really a charm, huh?

my greatest fears are
1.accidental explosions (like apliences and stuff like that...lol sometimes i'm afraid of the stove) 2.spiders (they just plain freak me out) i do not fear death because if i died i would be a lot happier than i am right now....to make a long story short: parents separate , mom gets engaged (no divorce yet), parents getting divorced, parents sueing each other, family i live with (my stepdad, sis, and beloved dog) is so poor we can't pay the gas bill and are moving...... great life eh? |

Spiders. Damn! don't you just hate those things?
I'm also scared of rednecks. I live in a small town in Alabama, where a lot of these rednecks are very rich. That scares me so much. I'm also afraid of Bush screwing over our country even more.... Another thing (sorry, don't mean to offend) very strict Christians. I'm not religous so I don't believe in that stuff, although i see how someone could. If I were religious, I'd be pagan, makes more sense to me than some greater being created everything, gave us a savior who promised to come back and hasn't for 2000 years. |
