I decided to play some SM today and I realised how fucking retarded it is on the difference of PA'ing payon and AA'ing payon
On one of reach's screens he had like 80 greats or something with a AA, yet.... ![]() |

I heard in SM you have like 2x, does it make it twice as fast? I mean fotbb twice as fast would be too fast for me even though I can play better at faster songs. I don't see how SM is any different than FFR, I mean unless you could change the speed, it should be the same. If SM was unaccurate and skips even more than FFR does, that would make SM harder, I mean its possible to fc even with lag not slower arrows, but actual lag like I have, but you have to press the arrows ahead of time causing you to get a lower accuracy thing, but causing you not to miss it. Don't go for accuracy if you lag guys, unless you want to play something over and over again and get a high score. Trust me, no matter how much your computer lags, unless it can't register it, you can fc anything with enough skills although its much much harder. Not to mention that the arrows are off beat. My computer skips frames and I was able to fc. So don't give up. I've never played Payon, so I wouldn't know how hard it was, but judging at the skill level of people who've played it, it can't be that hard to me, but when you and Reach and other good players talked about it, I changed my mind.

Ok, you could just download SM, but. on SM there's:
Marvelous (equal to FFR perfect), Perfect (Equal to FFR perfect), great (Equal to FFR good), good (Equal to FFR good, but ruins combos), boo (Equal to FFR miss, ruins combos), miss (Equal to FFR miss, ruins combos). Combos do not add points like FFR, so the score is dependent on your accuracy, not consistancy. For the most part. You can only miss if there's a note near the top, but your accuracy just sucks. Miss's hurt about the same Hit's give you 1/20 less the FFR a lot more, but those are the main ones. |

And you get a letter grade, depending how high you scored. AAA being perfect, AA very good, A good, B ok, C poor, D barely passed. You can get an AAAA if you surpass perfect...
and yea, your score is based on your hits, not your combo. which is more accurate. You can have tons of greats and FC the song....and not come close to fc but with more perfect hits, and score higher.

Not exactly, Equs.
AAAA = ALL Marvelous's AAA = ALL Marvelous's and Perfect's AA = ALL Marvelous's, Perfect's, and Great's and 1 or 2 Good's A = Most of them M's, P's, and G's. B = Less M's, P's, and G's than A. C = Even less M's, P's, and G's. D = HALF of them M's, P's, and G's. E = About 2/3 of them misses and boos. |

Theres no set number...
you can AA a song with misses and Boo's dude. It depends on your total score. You need at least 100/100 for AAAA and AAA, 95/100 for AA, 85/100 for A 75/100 B 70/100 C getting less than 70/100 will usually give you a D. Those are APROX...you can be off of those a bit.
