There's more to totally eliminating the timing purpose of the game.
If anything, everyone who starts playing SM on fingers is best to start off on 6/6, x1 speed, and on DDR sims then work your way up until you feel that you can high A or AA a 10 foot DDR song. Once you can do that, you should move down to 4/4 and increase your speed gradually while playing things in the 10-12 Taps Per Second range. What you're doing now may seem like it's helping you, but realistically it's not. Hitting the arrows is not the only thing about the game, because a lot of the skill comes from hittimg the arrows accurately. If you start working with this method your should improve and become satified with your scores because right now, your scores are extremely poor. |
