Default jTWG LX (60) postgame (Spring Break)

Wow what a game. First off, this wolf team was ridiculously overpowered, I died when I random'd it, and fiction's number got drawn 3 times to be a wolf lmao, it was destiny.

Here are the roles:
Wolves: FictionJunction, Syhto, DarkManticoreX2, Viccica
Vigilante: Vantilburg
Bodyguard: yo man im awesome
Psychic: Gun92
Everyone else was human.

N1- Vendetta21 was guarded. Kraut was wolved.
D1-V was killed (5-4) over Syhto
N2-Gun was PMd there are 4 wolves left, Gun92 was wolved. guard pm was sent 5 minutes too late
D2- femanic lynched
N3-Syhto was guarded. no other PMs received
D3- syhto claimed hose and said emerald was seered red, emerald was instad
N4-yoman guarded vant. yoman was wolved
D4-vantil was instad
N5-wolves decided not to submit a kill
D6-lumpho was instad. wolves won the game.

All in all, the wolves played outstanding and they really ran this game, from Syhto's lying and manipulating to Manti's ability to sway votes. MVP however I'd have to give to FictionJunction, for devising insane plans, and being a very convincing human (convincing enough to get the vigi to come out to him and give wolves tons more power)

Some interesting plays happened, Gun coming out day 1 should be talked about (not saying this was bad).

Humans tended to not explain their reasoning well as it came down to the wire, and kind of trickled away in the later phases, and the outstanding wolves capitalized on this resulting in a dominant performance and clean sweep. Still well played by both parties though.

It was fun hosting my first game, and looking forward to playing with you all again

Very, very good game guys. I agree with fic being mvp, absolutely well played.

I have to disagree with the part about human though, I feel that many of us did a good job in investigating the whole thing. I mean, it was a shitstorm because of the unsent PM and the whole inactive charade, but I think both sides played excellently.

Still, gotta give it to the wolves. Good job guys. Can't wait for the next one.

(headdesk)

To think I might have actually been right about the whole not submitting during the night phase.

gun coming out was the best thing that could've happened to humans. He should've, though, done it in d2.

He basically created an alliance out of thin air that could've survived three phases, more than enough to make the alliance useful for humans.

His issue was not introducing the BG and the Vigi. I recall reading that ymia gave gun trouble and that they both were at each other's throats for some reason, unable to trust each other, which is weird because there were no counterclaims so there was no reason to doubt one another.

ANYWAY.

you guys should really challenge us more often. I don't know about everyone else but I'm a professional liar. I like lying and enjoy it.

You have to assess the personality of the player or the character the player is performing and determine if his actions merit suspicion based on the circumstances of the current phase. There is no exact blueprint to figure out if I'm a wolf or not but generally if you dig deep enough you can make anyone trip on their words.

That's what you should be doing instead of playing to the tune of nearsighted expectations.

We may have to turn cardflipping back on next game.

A LOT of our plays wouldn't have been possible if cardflipping wasn't off.

I was a little uneasy about gun, due to the fact that he refused to believe that I was a bodyguard, is all. He also failed to introduce me and vant together. Me and vant almost pulled through in the end; we were debating having him use his vigi kill the night I died, but we decided against it and said fk it lmao. Was a fun game to watch after that. Kept facepalming when I saw more and more votes on Vant

I think we should play a factions game because the issue here is inability to participate on a meaningful level despite interest. Faction games require people to think about everything they do. And diplomacy is great. I want people to make plans, scheme and backstab.

you're either a detective or a criminal covering your tracks. You're either a good guy trying to be just and fair or a bad guy manipulating good guys into doing your bidding.

It's all talk.

I wasn't uneasy about you being the bg yo man, I just couldn't figure out why that so late in the phase that it took me to randomly start talking to you for you to even mention anything. At that point in time, I needed you to guard me. Had you done that, there really was no reason for you and vant to know each other. Had you both come to me from the beginning of the time when I came out, then there would have been little issue because it would have afforded us time to try and work things out. You coming to me so late (and not even really coming to me) I couldn't just up and take your word for it at the time. I told vant I had contact with you claiming you were the bg and all that jazz which I know you shared at one point. Ill take full blame for dropping the ball and coming out when I did. I had an unnatural case of paranoia that stemmed from the sign ups and I didn't want to end up dying before I could attempt to do something useful for the humans this time. Like I said, I will take LVP on this one because I came out too early and I lead us to kill one of our best shots at hunting the wolves down. Ill be better next game.
