I hate AAAing long songs. Length affects AAA difficulty for me way more than the patterns. It can easily take me 80+ tries to AAA a very easy song that's 3 minutes long, while it will take me under 10 tries to AAA most songs with twice the difficulty rating if they're under 2:30

Yeah I get that way too, especially songs in the rock genre that are really long I don't want to AAA those >_< Reset was pretty simple once I changed offset, mirror is pretty awkward for that file though. I think after a complete once over of the song, and after i switched settings I got it in 3 tries.

I've never raged at a videogame as bad as when trying to AAA D3's song. Anyone in D3 has my sympathies.

I improved my score to 4-0-0-1 and im like YES EVEN A LITTLE IMPROVEMENT IS GOOD!!!! Then I look at the chart and I'm in the same position still ;-; why...

EDIT: Although I'm able to decipher the patterns a little bit more they don't seem as confusing... maybe I got this

EDIT 2: 3 goods clean >.>

I hope the cutoff for D3 doesn't rise too much...I managed a 6 clean, could do better when I have more time, but I have a lot of homework and stuff to do the next few days so I hope I get chances to play. This was on mirror, still no trouble at all with the end. It's mostly the fast [12][34] type stuff that gets me especially when there's other arrows mixed in near it. Edit: and the white arrows too. They're tricky. Mirror definitely makes it easier for me though. I'll see what I can do with more practice.

anyone else notice the round 2 song of last tournament was 37 and in this one it was only 29? makes me nervous for round 3 haha i'm wondering if it's gonna stay lower or if it's going to get bumped all the way up to 42ish like last time

I raged super hard at Blue Marine... I'm not even gonna bother with it anymore, 1g clean is good enough for me.

Me too, I think there won't be too many more movements so I'm ok with 3 clean... However I'd feel really happy to get an AAA, so I might keep trying still
