Undercover Apple Update! [BBC Interview + New Song Preview]
Hello FFRers!
Sorry about the absence here. I have not been in the best of health. I was in the hospital twice for quite some time due to (still not diagnosed) blood disorder. Doctors think it's something called PNH which is a rare red blood disorder and signs of renal failure (and I may have to undergo dialysis 3 times a week) or even worse chemotherapy. Cross your fingers for me Some of you may have heard that Undercover Apple was going to be on the BBC! It could have been my first time to actually meet Emie in person. Unfortunately, this mysterious illness hit me 3 days before my flight out there so I never did get a chance to make the trip to the UK to meet my other musical half. She still did a great job without me there! Take a listen: BBC Interview with Undercover Apple https://soundcloud.com/harrymeas/undercover-apple-bbc Good news is that they invited us back to perform live and even better is all the songs were written on guitar so we might even plan to do an acoustic set of the EP. I'm aiming to go around summer as long as I'm feeling healthier. I've written 5 new songs for the next release and I think this new EP will be better than the first! Here's a preview of I'm Not A Bargain which will be part of the next EP: I'm Not A Bargain https://soundcloud.com/harrymeas/im-not-a-bargain-2-0/s-Fay1J Other than that, the other 4 tracks will be: Perihelion - A song about an asteroid ...Can't you see that I'm the one During my perihelion I'm an asteroid Floating in space Your gravity has My orbit displaced You don't need a telescope To see why I've become so close To you... Paragraphs and Parachutes - A song about writing a letter Graphite and ink It's all the same On the edge I'm illegible It's quite a shame I'm jumping right off With a stationary kit The cliff of the calligrapher Twists like a wrist Spool - A song about a kite and astronaut Extend the cotton string on this Kite Let the spool in your soul unwind The sky takes it from here I'll say hello to the moon to bright Mistake the stars for your diamond eyes I'll miss you my dear It's come and go With the flow I'm floating away And finally a song written by Emie called Embers Here's an older recording: Embers https://soundcloud.com/emiesongs/emie-embers Thanks for the support and listening as always! I plan to start another Kickstarter for the next EP within the next few months I'll keep everyone posted!
