I personally believe that Shotgun Surgery is the best Rock file in game. The only reason why people hate it so much is this:

Shotgun Surgery was pretty far up my list of favorites for 2012, but I personally don't think anything can beat Parousia.

One could determine the best/worst file from both a technical perspective and a "is this fun?" perspective. Perhaps he just didn't think the file was fun, and one can convince someone that a file is technically correct but its near impossible to convince someone that a file is fun, so one shouldn't feel bad if they see their files nominated for worst file, people like different things and everyone has different tastes when it comes to which files are fun, it doesn't mean your file was "wrong" if someone didn't like it. Anyways, I don't know where I'm going with this, just figured I would share what was on my mind. Although I will agree that middie was a little blunt about his dislike of shotgun and that he could have made his opinion seem a bit less objective...

that's been the problem with midnight for so long though. he doesn't even try to rationalize why he hates a chart; he just says it sucks. he wantonly throws his opinion around like everyone cares about it and this isn't the only good chart that he disapproves of. i know it's midnight's "style" to behave like a fucking brat, but by now i would hope people just ignore what he has to say.
