judgments for submissions so far

1. (moches) Want U Back v2
just tweaked a few things Poopit mentioned in an Oni chart. planning to fully chart this song later since we don't have very many beginner files

2. (hi19hi19 vs Scintill) The Cataclysm
mad guitar soloz. sick file. that said, I'm a bit surprised that all the 24ths/32nds fall right into place. then again, at this speed it hardly matters. bottom line is YES

3. (Valor) XTREMEPOLESTA
could be good scoring file but some parts are either ridiculous or sloppy. a little polishing would go a long way on this imo. maybe add an easier chart? CONDITIONAL YES

4. (James May) GOLD RUSH
fun at parts, FAR FAR too technical in others. results in some ridiculous patterns (32nd trills into a quad? 64th rolls? really?). layering to 16ths unclear...potential in parts but no dice. NO

5. (James May) Roxas
only spotted like two misrhythms so well done. good easy file, well-stepped and the grace notes make it a fun challenge for beginners. you really have to learn how to make patterns, though: random patterns stick out even more when the instrument they're following is the ONLY instrument playing. structure is key. YES but I want to see those patterns fixed.

6. (James May) Head Phone Actors
quite fun song, and at times this file captures the rhythms well. problem is straightlayering leading to difficulty spikes (this seems to be a big problem with your files, tbqh) and unclear pattern usage making it hard to get a grasp of anything in the file other than the rhythms. (also: the sync is realllly weird. yellow note syndrome in the slow parts, blue note syndrome in some of the fast parts. figure that out.) needs work but could be pretty great...as is, NO

7. (James May) El Chavo del Ocho
cute song and file but so many freezes. when the song is this simple, accurate pitch relevancy is key, but unfortunately the fact that you accent random pattern choice with freezes only makes the lack of PR stick out even more. nice try at accuracy/scoring factor with the grace notes, but very inconsistently followed. I could see this being a great beginner file, but it'll take a LOT of work...for now, NO

8. (Midigami) My Friend Mudkip
one of your better submissions. misrhythms here and there, some blatant PR errors, and the difficulty spikes. props on having four charts. YES but I'll be requiring fixes on this file sometime down the road
