I'm in the 80-90 range with a weighted gpa of 3.9 and an unweighted of somewhere around 3.3(got 3 B's in my hardest honors classes).

Oops I clicked on the wrong option. I clicked 60-70 when I meant 70-80. I have an average of 77.8, or something along those lines. Because of honors physics. Oh how I hate my physics teacher.

90%+ (Which is an A- or better)
If I put a bit more effort into school and not as much on programming and computers, then I could get striaght A's. Luckily that problem will be solved when I hit college (Computer Science and Electrical Engineering double major is my aim). -----Soccr743----- |

If I wasn't such a lazy ass...it should be 90%. But right now it's about 75-85%...ish.

What is this "Academic Average" and why have I never heard of it? Is is some kind of non-California thing?
My cumulative GPA is 3.8810 (ranked 56 out of 484). The classes that screwed me were Health, English IB (HL1), and Advanced Algebra Honors. Other than those three classes, I would have gotten at least a 4.0. However, it might be even lower once the semester is done since I have become really lazy and stopped caring about High School. |

2.85 >_> (B- average)
Should be higher but I don't do my homework. I got a 1360 on the SATs(out of 1600) and I'm in the bottom half of my class for GPA XD.

I have a 3.83 unweighted GPA. It is 4.33333... because of my honors classes.
The only B I have is in spanish 1 because she expects everyone to have a 'native accent'. In or oral presentations (30% of grade) she gives everyone a C. So, it gives me a B in the class.

Your weighted GPA means nothing anymore compared to other high schools because of padding and different weights(APs are out of 5, but I know they're out of 6 in some other schools). In my school, you have to kill yourself to get a 4.0 weighted average. Right now, I have a 3.821.

I think that weighted GPA is important because it not only makes you look smarter, but it also reflects the difficulty of the classes that you are taking.

4.0 GPA, mid to high 90%.
Our school doesn't weigh at all for AP classes, though. Even one B screws up your chances for valedictorian. The way they pick the valedictorians is that everyone with A's all through high school gets considered, and then the teachers choose around twelve of them or so, based on their extracurricular activities. It's really stupid. |

90%+
I was ranked around 20th in my class out of 500 when they posted the honor roll about 3 months ago, stupid A- in english :<. I generally get around 97% or higher in every class but english, which is anywhere from 92-96, math and spanish are always 99-100. ~3.98 GPA (out of 4.0 max, honors/AP don't count). And I got 258% in woodtech last year, along with an award for acadamic excellence (Usually given to the top stupid in any given subject) =p. Easiest. Class. Ever. To bad I got a 1,300 on the practice PSAT (I forget the selection index, but that's the score in relation to the old SAT scale). Three of my friends got 1600 and they have worse GPAs then me. |
