You guys know those hillbilly movies?

Read this thread and you'll understand the title. I have had the worst day i've had in a long time. I'll start with the little events.

1. I had no lunch money
2. I went home sick and missed a detention, and that will result in ISS (in school suspension)
3. I missed my baseball game.

At that i thought my day was shitty. Then, my parents drop the bomb. My dad got a job offering in Lueville, Kentucky. He's been unemployed for only a few weeks, but it's a promising job. We have until Friday to accept. The positives to moving are more money, better economy, more jobs, and all that other stuff. You can probobly guess the negatives. Hello Kentucky.

Well, good luck. Sorry you have to move, especially getting the news on a pretty shitty day. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Today was my first day of work.

Don't feel too bad. I lived in Tulsa, OK, which is quite a booming little city for being stuck in the midwest. Then my family moved to Harrison, AR, the July before I started high school. Tulsa: pop. a lot. Harrison: pop. 12,000. I went to school with somewhere around 350 people 9-12 and graduated with 56. It's a pretty huge shock.

Louisville, I think, is a rather large city, though, so it shouldn't be too terrible. Yeah, people are gonna talk funny, but that's not too hard to get over. I actually think my move to Harrison was one of the best things that could have happened to me. My parents have moved twice since then, and I'll always wish they could go back. I loved that little town. =)

Sorry you have to uproot, though. I hate moving and I hate new houses.

I could care less about the house. I really only care about like making friends and not becoming in the druggie clique. I just dont want to leave my friends and shit.

Wow what a crappy day. Hopefully you'll be in a non-redneck influenced city, unfortunately that seems extremely unlikely. But hey I live in Georgia about 10 minutes north of Atlanta and theres absolutely no rednecks near here, thank jesus. I've got a solution for you though, quickly learn hyponosis(isn't really hard to learn and actually is real) and hypnotise your parents and brainwash them to stay where you live. Ok i hate to double post but it's pretty much final.

I'm moving. The details i know is that i wont be IN Louisville, just a suburb around it. That's about all so far.

The only way i wont is if my dad gets a job offer tonight or early tomorrow.
