Heffalump Hardcore 2010 is going to be one of those files with a lot of good scores but relatively low AAAs

Down to 2, but those rolls are still really dumb.
Pro tip: Try to at least roll one side of each "Skeletor roll"; even if you have to hit a jump on one side it still drops the goods dramatically if you can at least get half the roll correct.

Heffalump is hilarious, and pretty fun. Almost seems like a 70 ( not saying it necessarily should be ). Love the file and the song, haha.

Carol of the Bells is definitely one of the funnest rock songs I've ever played on FFR. It didn't feel anywhere close to 2:34 in length.

yeah I agree, carol of the bells is fun. I'm also a sucker for the melody cause it's just so hauntingly cool and it's the only christmas song I genuinely like.

Are all the songs going to be around this difficulty? I don't really mind, just curious.

Carlos of the bells:
I remember play testing this chart, I'm not fond of the trills in the stream but aside from personal preference I can't say anything bad about it. I still prefer the Carlos version though. Nothing's Gonna Stop Me V2: I haven't played or looked at it yet, but I honestly didn't know the V1 was in game until recently. But I imagine I've played it. Heffalump: What Hi19 said. This chart is not re-playable for the chart on it's own (sorry Spit I don't mean that rudely.) But those rolls are gonna force replays all over the spectrum. That said I'm not a fan of it on a personal level, but I again can't really say anything bad about it because it at least makes a lot of sense. That said, that song is awesome and hilarious. Good find even if the chart is slightly trolly. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the charts to see if I can find one I'll like a lot. ![]() |

Day 4: Twinkle Of The Stars is up!
Ehh, unfortunately, I have to say that, as hard as it is to imagine, the first several songs are on the easier side of this series's releases. That's not to say these songs are easy by any means, but the later songs can be a doozy. However, we try to pick songs though on quality and what we might think people will remember and enjoy, as opposed to difficulty alone. |

Just played Carol of the Bells and yeah it was pretty dope. Awesome song choice man.
Couple of things were wrong- first drum fill felt like it was missing a bunch of arrows and the repeating melody after that was sometimes acknowledged with 8th jacks and sometimes not, which felt weird. A lot of flams were not stepped, I don't mind this as it was consistent but it caught me off guard when I heard a flam in the song and there wasn't a grace note lmao. There was one (12) (12) 2 (12) left hand thing like 4/5 of the way though the song that felt odd to me as well. Trilly JS was a ton of fun ![]()
