It would have been great, but from what I heard:

A) waaaay too much stuff is already happening December event-wise.

B) there are like 2-3 Christmas-y songs in the queue right now (mine being one of them)

With the winter official tournament coming up, I doubt there'll be another FFRmas event where files are released, considering most of them have been reserved for said tournament.

Only need 48 files for the tournament, maybe a few more in the event of tiebreakers. There's a lot more than that in queue.

Whenabouts does the next batch open? There's like 130 files in the queue rich now so I'm guessing not til like, June 2029 or somethjng

Well the batch is actually going to be depleted a fair bit, so it'll go down faster than you might anticipate. However, a new batch for the public definitely won't happen until the coming year. When exactly I do not know.
