Re: Ingame Song Information
I have also a suggestion (well, I should post in the official FFR Suggestions thread but it's also relevant here) :
There's always some songs that are harder to find. Ex: R/\IN or H a l o g e n (FFR Edit) for example. It would be nice to have a redirection system. When you wanna play "R/\IN", just type "rain". "halogen" for "H a l o g e n"... Then there's also "F", "S", "-Y", "Op.10 No.9" etc. You could type the author and it gives all his songs. It could also include the song genre, the style, the stepauthor, hidden clues for secret tokens :3, there's a lot of possibilities. It could also be easier to change song names without affecting the player who is accustomed to the old names. And, thanks for the support. I might post my work publicly on January 1st whether I'm finish or not. So far, there's 23 000 characters and 3 127 words in my txt file. I'm now at Haydn. I also wrote guidelines to have a more coherent database. Last thing, you might be unaware that I keep track of every changes from that page since last September : http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...80&postcount=2.

Re: Ingame Song Information
Currently I define song length as the time that's obtainable in the song editor by hitting "End" key.
Defining it from the frame count might be more accurate like said, though. There're some errors since I or previous game managers defined it from mp3 information in the past. |

Nothing's Gonna Stop Me is here listed as being an original composition by Renard, not Kitsune^2. |

TheDoujinChannel? Doesn't sound like an official source to me. A lot of other places say it's Kitsune^2 and I don't see any real reason to doubt all those.

Re: Ingame Song Information
Since 1983 is listed as a Swing Rock style, while it mostly lacks the swing rhythm. A good example of swing is in Going on a Spring wind. Being in compound meter does not make it a swing song. =p

Re: Ingame Song Information
Neo-Classical Metal is more appropriate for that song.
Currently working on that list I've talked about earlier, the document weights 7800 words. Expected to reach 9000 before I'm finished.

Lightning Strikes Again - Metal Squad
This is actually a mashup of two songs, both of which are from Thunder Force IV.

Re: Ingame Song Information
T&J Complete Version (4444) and TGWP Full Version (around 6000?) should be added to the "most notes" list.

Re: Ingame Song Information
"On Conquest and Capture" is actually an ending section of "Bone Marrow" off of Fortress. I don't know why it's named what it is in game. Was there actually a real reason for it?

Re: Ingame Song Information
Yep. Because it is actually an interlude called "On Conquest and Capture". The piano interlude after "Spoils" and preceding "Wretch" is also known as "Icosceles".
It stems from the mini-concepts on the album. The first 3 songs are part of the "On Conquest and Capture" concept, the next 4 are "Untitled" (there's not really a theme to them), and the last 3 are a part of the "Isoceles" concept. Last edited by T-Force; 05-6-2014 at 02:31 PM.. |

Re: Ingame Song Information
Resurrection Spell is actually a rearrange of Motou Fujiwara's theme, even though "touhou resurrection spell" search on youtube returns Yuyuko's Border of Life theme.

Re: Ingame Song Information
That would have been my job.
I can still help with doing this in the future, but I'm not going to go and hunt for artist links at the moment. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 10-29-2014 at 10:01 AM.. |
