No.
When you start getting into the high rating range, you start getting into files that are incredibly burst heavy with worse transitions. Eclipse's patterns are a lot more doable than Vortex and is much more consistent. Also can't forget about the 2 and 0 frames in Vortex -- those shit on Eclipse's frames hard. This is just like saying "why is Crowdpleaser a 91". I have Revolutionary Etude AAA'd and Death Piano SDG'd but still have trouble just FCing Crowdpleaser most of the time.

I'm just emphasizing that asking why Vortex is an 89 is like asking why Crowdpleaser is a 91 -- both files have "good PA scores" but a lot of emptier parts that make your score look nicer with all the extra notes.

I absolutely hate files with empty parts. I'd much rather a consistently difficult file.

I'd love to... ugh. That ending jack is just too hard for me and there's no way to cheat it, haha.
Maybe I'll give it a whirl after AAAing the last two new songs (I have Lunar Eclipse and Pollyanna left.) EDIT: Here's one: and there's the other. Let's see how I do trying for M(fK). EDIT: OH COME THE FUCK ON Last edited by TC_Halogen; 11-20-2012 at 09:52 PM.. |
