...but that's besides the point.
I realize my memory may simply be failing me and fabricating things that I would like to believe existed, but is/was there some sort of practice tool for this game? I vaguely remember something where you could set a program to just spit out streams or jumps or something at a BPM that you could set so you could get some nice practicing out of that. So is or was this thing an actuality, or am I dreaming again? |

There are isolation files on certain external engines, maybe that's what you're thinking about? I believe on Hakulyte's Isolation Engine there were sets of files for practicing certain patterns at different BPMs..

And quite frankly...I'm not nearly good enough for those isolation flies to have any use. :S That might have actually been it...again, I'm not sure if this is just something that my mind told me existed or not though. |

This was tried once after the 6th official tourney. Velocity had a fit of pique after DossarLX ODI ran the table, AAAing every song thrown at his division. The result was a level known as Whimper Wall, which is right up there with Vertex Beta vROFL in that it exists solely to flip you the bird.

![]() While it definitely does help a bit, I think you can understand why I'm not very satisfied though. |
