high scoring:tips?

i can`t get a darn high score in my darn life in FFR.

got any ideas that can help?anyone?

Step one: Practice

Step two: Don't mess up

If you should happen to mess up, repeat Steps 1-2 in order.

You're not gonna get a high score your first day. Just practice.

Practice is indeed the path to pwnership. I'd recommend a few songs for specific levels and specific step types:

Terror From Beyond: My first Full-Combo, this is an easysong that introduces your fingers to the FFR setup.
Secret Zombie Room: A secret song earned early on, it's surprisingly easy, and a good easy practice for streaming.
CIA Rave: The next level of streaming. Hard to Full-Combo, but practice makes perfect.
Green Twilight FFR Edit: Another in secret, this is faster, and harder yet, practice for streaming.
Halogen: For when you're good, work on this to improve jump steps.
Rondo Alla Turca V2: Der Über-Practice. This combines everything, but it's hard.

Mario was both my first FC and my first AAA. To today I still find difficulty with FFR because in my eyes it feels much different than Stepmania. Also, the arrows go to slow, and there's no way to make them go faster yet. Remember, I am talking about the original FFR, not the new one.

Read that aloud and rethink if you should be the one to correct grammar. While we're at it, the colon was not needed.

Anyways, back on topic. Just play as often as you like, and over time you'll get better. Time is just cool like that. ;x

smashman, I DL'd your SZR. The mp3 was such low quality it skipped so much I couldn't even play the song. Also the BG and BN really suck.

Wtf? The song skipped because it was low quality. Must be your computer.

Don't complain about the song quality. It was ripped from FFR and sounds the same as when you play it here. I didn't have Photoshop when I made the BG/Bannner but I still like what I made.

The steps win.
