Gonna go against the current here and say I really dislike this song. Even though the video gives a message about the wealthy in Gangnam, it isn't catchy or memorable to me.

there are two main reasons why modern music gets as much attention as it does

1) it's accessible
2) it's dance-able

your personal dislike for a genre of music doesn't automatically make that genre "not music"

respect? really? read the lyrics to stupid hoe and tell me how anyone can have respect for that. she can go die in a fire and i wouldnt care.

and as for choofers, im more leaning towards the lyrics more than anything. i have an open mind about music and will listen to just about anything. my usb drive in my car has a good amount of everything cept gospel. i can understand a good melody and how it catches people, thats normally what get them in the 1st place. it just seems to me that if thats what acceptable in todays world, yall can have it. to each their own
