FFR on Facebook?!

I'm going to go ahead and give a great big "no" to this.

I can't say that I really like the whole connect up everything with Facebook direction things seem to be going. Wait it out and we might have something better in a few years anyway.

We need social networking which is under the user's control, not under corporate or government control. Instead of being the "product" with companies buying your data, you should have full control over it or at the very least they should give you a cut of the profits.

Zuckerberg has billions -- just think about that. Your information is profitable. Why shouldn't you get at least a cut of that? The guy isn't "nice" -- he's merely found a way to make major bucks exploiting everyone's info.
