Why do I have the feeling mindblocks tend to happen more with high speedmods

I've stuck with 1.75x since forever and I didn't really have that problem -- one of the few songs I've mindblocked was Magical 8bit Tour at the ending 32nds where I kept hitting a minijack and getting a boo while AAA'ing past the trill section because of how awkward it is. Then again though I do look into files pretty deeply if they require it.

my mindblocks get worse when I lower the speedmod. I see the trouble area way ahead of time, and my brain flips out.

I wouldn't really say so, I rarely get mindblocks actually, it's just that I just played the song way too much in a short period of time, lol.

Also the patterns were really awkward for me (At least the ones that aren't JS), and I can't really do those patterns fluently to begin with haha, definitely going to get worse anyway.

same thing happens to me.

happened in the last tourney as well for whoring Slashmaid and Rave7 (I had to do mirror and non-mirror back and forth)

I actually had the very first burst in Phi-dentity mindblocked ONLY in R^2, which of course needed a higher speed mod.

Right now, I can't even break 10 before my problem windmill-spins section, and that still includes misses on random jacks and 8th notes. It's not happening; I might not even go for the FC.

This is no longer about me being angry over misses; this is just me accepting that right about now I just don't have the strength or patience to whore my song until I get the necessary scores. Plus, a sub-12 good cutoff is insane.

I was actually blocked on a bunch of songs when I was playing on 1.9x. Lowering my speed mod to 1.85x helps rid a lot of my mindblocks for some magical reason.

However, I never took the time to analyze the file patterns. If I want to optimize my scores, I should do that.
