Alright, we're all caught up on judging the ones that just came in, including resubs. Just need to get to difficulty rating again.

There's quite a few misrhythms following the vocals - I'd have to give you notes on where they are, since there's actually quite a few noticeable ones.

If you could that'd be great. I really want to practice stepping and getting better at it.

By the way, this is the first time anything was accepted from me. Kind of excited how people like it when played!

** This Dying Soul - I've never received updates for this - I sent in a fix a long time ago.
** The Dark Eternal Night - I need some specific notes on this when you guys have time, not sure what the problem is here :P ** Spin the Disc - you can tone down the 2nd scratch (I'm assuming you're talking about the very colorful one) ; try to keep it bursty still - I intended that scratch to have a difficulty spike. I guess it was overkill - remove a few (2-4) arrows at max please :/ ** Soda Love - This song is too hard to keep balanced in terms of difficulty, I give up. PS) When are you guys going to start hosting the tournament? I want to see how my files look like on an FFR-based engine. Thanks in advance, j |

You know what, going to send another file in to see if this is good enough. It's another "8" on the old scale. Or how I intended it to be when stepped.
EDIT: And just like that, already noticed something wrong after I sent it to ya. I sent another email with the corrected one. My apologies.

Okay guys, please stop sending us previously released files. I can't use them for the tournament. Charu I can't use your file because it's on the community engine, I had no idea it was on there till this morning. We let a few sm releases slide this time around since sm plays different than FFR, but we don't even like doing that. If we were going to use files that were already playable we wouldn't ask for new ones and take all this time. So please, no more.

You can send whatever you want, but if it's previously released or a dump it's not gonna get used.

Difficulty 8s are just about the only thing left that you guys want, right?

I have to go through and rate all the things we haven't yet to see where we are with difficulties.

EDIT: It's only on there because I wanted to see how it would look on an FFR based engine and stuff. Can it be re-accepted if taken out? I just need to get a hold of Justin.

It's been down all day, Charu. Go look. It was up for two days literally, and nobody even plays the community engine. I understand the concern with previously released files, but I doubt this was even played by more than five people.

Sounds like Kayla's concern here is similar to that of submitting previously released files to FFR. The best way to go about this is private testing as opposed to openly leaving your files available on a third-party engine.

This is part of the problem with having so many engines around. There's been more than one occasion in these tournaments where we accept something, then find out it's somewhere else. It's not that we want to be mean or anything of the sort, we just want original content for the tournament, which I think you all can understand. I like the file, I do want to use it but I'm going to have to see if AJ is okay with it too. We do this as a team, so it's not only up to me.
