I had no intentions of being rude, but I'm going to remain blunt: the reason why people do that on FFR is because of multiple reasons. There was a huge period of time where people were getting banned and making alternate accounts to either sandbag or outright cheat in tournaments. In addition to that, this particular situation has many coincidences between you and your brother, like playing on the same speedmod (2.2x), same style (Falling/downscroll), having relatively similar join times with only one of them posting, and having relatively similar scores.

If you were really good at a particular game and knew everyone within the community, you can't honestly sit down and say that you wouldn't question a brand new presence (note: presence, not user) doing exceedingly well. Even some of the top players on the site had to face it at some point. leonid was accused of cheating way back when and he shut everyone up. ichliebekase was accused of cheating because she was engaged to krunkykai22 and she was having a skill boost. She put out a video and shut people up. Hayate put out a video because Lord_Tyler was really close to them (possibly living together) and people were saying that L_T was getting scores for her. She shut people up too.

If you provide adequate proof without being cocky/arrogant about that, people will get the message and leave you alone. It's that simple.

Ok, now I learned my lesson of joining tournaments online. I just wanted to enjoy a single tournament without any sort of drama. If it makes anyone happy then I'll happily just step down from the tournament. I'm not going to be playing FFR anymore as I'll just go back to CoD instead.

Rather consistent in the (ex) VC/FMO area and has the potential to FC FGOs with teens? That's a minimum D4 to me.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that you guys want to have data, but with that post saying that "you need to wait for more scores" being out in the open, this person can elect to not play at all, or get poor scores intentionally to weasel out of being put where they belong. You'll have a much more serious problem if you don't take care of this now.

I can't touch any of those scored.. That ketsarku @_@

Ok, now I learned my lesson about not pretending to be someone else. I just wanted to enjoy pretending to be someone of a lesser skillset so I could be placed in a lower division without any sort of drama. If it makes anyone believe me then I'll happily just step down from the tournament. I'm going back to playing FFR on only Zekramcross and CoD as well.
