i have been at a friend of mines house and we were playing snes games on his computer. well, he never was able to give me a reliable way of telling me how to correctly download the emulator and how to put the games into the emulator or however that works so if theres anyone out there that knows enuff about this that they think they can help me out that would be great thanx

The ROMS you play on emulators are illegal if you don't actually own them in cartridge form. Since you probably don't own them, it is illegal to discuss this on FFR. So no.

ZSNES is probably the best SNES emulator but it's a pain to get used to, so, seeing how you don't know much about emulators I would reccommend Snes9x instead (http://www.snes9x.com/). It's a little more resource-dependant and a little less powerful than Zsnes but much more user-friendly.
As for the games, well... Emulators are perfectly legal but ROMs are basically pirated games so they're illegal and thus hard to find. ROM sites do exist but they are rare. Using a search engine will likely just return pages and pages of adware-loaded sites only pretending to offer ROMs, so don't bother with that.

I personally don't have any ROMs or emulators anymore, but I always preferred ZSNES when I did. But that's illegal.

well, i tried znsnes but i cant figure why when i load games that there are no games in my zsnes emulator. and when i downloaded the zsnes emulator after i exited out of it the first time, iwas never able to find it again. so...
