Le sigh...overtime goal was sweet, but for a Detroit fan like me, today's announcement that Lidstrom is calling it a career after two decades in the NHL is kind of saddening. We all knew it was going to happen, but still. :/

Down 0-2 and now on enemy ice? Not like the games aren't hotly contested, but when it comes down to it they're just getting outplayed. I should hope they find something left in the tank to try to slow down the war machine that is the Kings so the series can go back to NJ.

The Devils are going to win one game so that the Kings can go back to NJ and win another away game and set the record for most away game wins in the playoffs.

Well I'm mathematically eliminated from this competition. I picked NJ in 6, as LA has won 3 games, even if NJ brings it all the way to 7 and wins, that prediction was already called. Good tournament folks!

Well, Pika picked LA in 6 and Plan NJ in 7, so while Terry might be out, there's still a little bit of wiggle room. I think we all thought this series would be a bit less lopsided, though.

(Trumaestro's on track to nail his pick of an LA sweep, though he should probably know that an SCF sweep hasn't happened since 1998 when Detroit opened up a can of whoop-ass on Washington.)
