Most of us are new here because someone mentioned "Somone at FFR who says he can't pass paranoia survivor but that he's AAA'ed Max 300" at another board. I personally have known about FFR for quite a while, but have never posted.

Also, I pray your last sentance is a joke. Mabye if you meant to write 10 or something like that I'd believe you... I'd say a good handfull of people have AAA'ed it at least once, but 1000 people is ludicrous. No way.

Also, TonyHawk, just fess up. Looking at your previous posts you claim that you find My Summer Love and Bag 1x speed hard, say you can only pass bag with a D, and then claim that you can AAA Max300? Oh, please.

The only way to redeem yourself is to post proof, because your debating skills are very crappy.

I don't doubt that many people can AAA Max300, but it's like an olympic sport. You don't see many people running 100m in 9 seconds.

And when you honest to god think 'My Summer Love' is hard, you really need to do some more research when you lie about AAAing something like Max300.

And we all registered or only posted now because this was something too stupid not to comment about. =)

2-i can easily AA My Summer Love 1x.
3-i can usually get a B on Max300.
4-theres PS, PSM, and PSMOni, and PS makes me think of PS, not PSMO.
5- there is no 5, but still, tnys lies are ridiculous. PS is easy shit. and DDR All Stars is the artist od DDR, stupid ideot fake liar mofo bitch buttfuckers.

This has turned into "I have trouble beating ps", into "I can't beat ps". If you have trouble beating it, that means like a C. Not a fail. And in my opinion, when I hear ps, I think of Paranoia Survivor Max Oni.

WTF did you just say? Really, I can't make out what the hell you just said. If you're saying that EVERYONE in Japan is a god in DDR, then you're really mistaken. Sure, they've had the game longer than us, so there is going to be a alot of players that are better than us, but that's not to say that 1000 people have AAA'ed Max300. Actually, I only know of three people in Japan that have AAA'ed it.

How about, Dark.. Sudden... x8... Heavy... on Legend of Max? And getting Triple A?
Yes, I think that's a *tad* harder, and truthfully I don't think anyone can do it. I only know of 3 people who can triple A it in the world. It might be 2, but I think Mike (guy from Calgary) can do it.

Also... my greatest achievement was doing C on Sakura Standard and Double AA'ing Love-Shine on Standard.
I only started 2 weeks and 4 days ago... quite good i think ^_^

The home version is a little more lenient on the timing, though, so it's a lot easier to get AAA's and such...

Of course, A on candy (assuming you're talking about heavy) is still pretty good, I've screwed up that song a few times by twisting my legs the wrong way on some of the runs (Although fortunately I always have enough life from the easy parts to save me if I screw up like taht =p)

If you can A candy you should try some songs like, say, Insertion or Broke My Heart... Good songs for first catas =p

Qreepy, ur right that japanese players are insanely good, but id say 40 is much more reasonable than 1000.
2 days ago i finally FCed insertion, god that song is tricky till u learn the patterns.
bag is easy for me cuz im good at slow songs. i dont have an extreme by me, but i hav bag on SM and im guessing i could probabaly get a B.
and sorry bout that moo, just tryin to find somthin else to bag on tony for

FC = "Full Combo", meaning that you start your combo on the first step and hold it all the way through the song... In other words, you have to get all Perfects / Greats. This also usually gets you a AA, but there are exceptions... AA is 93% of the points regardless of combos, so if you decided to get as many greats as you can you could probably full combo a song with only a C as your grade.

I could never FC insertion, I always get goods on that "gallop-gallop-gallop-gallop-1-2" pattern at the end... The first time I played it I thought it was a run of eight notes and got an insane amount of goods / almosts =\

Don't quote me on this, because I'm not really sure, but I think it goes something like:

AAA - 100%
AA - 93% and up
A - 80% and up
B - 60% and up
C - 40% and up
D - 39% and below
E - You get this if you run out of life in VS mode but the two of you managed to complete the song because of your partner. I think you also get it under other weird situations, but don't quote me ont hat.

I believe that's also counting the end-of-song bonuses...

That works for Max1 and up (And all the sims seem to use that formula)... I think in 3rd - 5th mix everything was moved down one letter, so straight perfects was a AA and a failure was an F... I think before 3rd mix AAA was also called "SSS" or "AAA PERFECT"...
